A photograph from 1941 was found
on the internet and appeared to show a man from the 1990s based on his dress
and styles. The photo was authenticated
and was taken at the re-opening of the South Fork Bridge in Gold Bridge,
British Columbia, which even deepened the mystery.
It turns out that the man’s seemingly present-day appearance was nothing more than little-seen styles of the day, the sunglasses, as an example, first appeared in the 1920s. The printed T-shirt he’s wearing isn’t a printed T-shirt but rather a sweater with a sewn-on emblem, something to do with a local sports team, probably the Montreal Maroons, an ice hockey team from that era.
