When fiction becomes fact: Goldfish

Someone started a started that Goldfish only have a three-second memory. Well, they’re wrong. Goldfish, God bless, can remember things for up to five months. Some of them can live for up to forty years….with nothing to remember apparently.

However, they can recognize faces, which I don’t understand since they can only recall things for around five months.

They don’t have stomachs, which would lead me to a lot of other questions that you, and me as well,  don’t have time for.

A group of Goldfish is called “A troubling.” Why? My guess is this. In the 17th century who ever is in charge of naming animals things, gave almost all grouping of animals romanticized names. A group of crows, as an example, are a “murder”
