no. The original space suit the first astronauts wore included a sort of “overboot”
over their boots because NASA wasn’t sure what they would be walking on while
on the surface of the moon and decided to take caution. The overbooks were left
behind on the moon’s surface and not brought into the space vehicle as an added
precaution.
