My advice to young people

Listen to people when they go on and on about the world and the people in it because it’s a pretty good insight into their true character.

Never let schooling interfere with your education.

Terrible people are like everyone else in that they don’t think of themselves as terrible human beings. It a survival mechanism.

When you consider the world, be pessimistic, but when I look at people, be an optimistic.
Nothing will ever haunt you as much as the things you don’t say.

Love without reason because reasons change.

It’s never too late to be whoever you want to be.

If the life you end up having is not the one you wanted, it’s okay. Just start over again.
Search out role models, those folks who are living the type of life you wish to lead.
Know where you are going. You would never get in a boat or even a car for matter, that without having a plan of where you are headed. Apply the same rule to your life. Just remember plans change.

When you do something positive, turn it into a life habit.

You are only getting this one life.

Read. Only dumb people don’t read. Reading will make you smart and enrich your life.
Think for yourself.

If you have to, stand up for what you believe in.

Know your own mind.
