I just watched “Five minutes of heaven” with Liam Neeson. The story, the entire film revolves around the story, cinematically there is little else to the film, well except those wonderful Irish faces, concerns the killing of a Catholic teen by Protestants teens during the troubles in Ireland in 1975. Then the film jumps ahead 3 decades to a televised meeting between the killer and the victim’s brother. This is a film about childhood trauma and toll it takes on the body, the mind and the soul and how it can ruin a life. An interesting movie to watch from that perspective.
